Overall Atmosphere: Combination
Featuring both cultural and natural attractions.
Combination Atmosphere destinations combine elements of both cultural and natural destinations, where this combination is itself essential to the travel experience. Common examples are Archaeological Sites (where culture is usually experienced outdoors), Scenic Local Markets (where indigenous cultures interact outdoors), Hotsprings and Vineyard Areas (where nature provides the raw materials but humans create the surroundings), and Unique Cultural Landscapes (where humans and nature interact in innovative ways, as in the elaborate rice terracing systems of Asia).
Combination Interests typically fall somewhere in the middle of the three types of primary interests in terms of
(a) how climate-dependent they are
(b) how accessible and physically demanding they are.

Everything was fantastic I was there for only one night as I had a couple hours lay over in Vancouver.
The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever layed in! Wish my stay was longer. Great location, great staff that helped me with my bags and calling me a taxi to the airport as well as food recommendations in the area, very clean and cute suite!
Nice, friendly reception, helpful with carrying the luggage. All information on where to go for dinner/shopping given straight away. Close to airport but no too much noise from it.
All by myself! Bed was supper comfortable. Great location for travelling to UBC hospital. No problem with parking. Owners were very friendly. Nice fireplace.
Quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed, very accommodating for check-in time
The staff were very nice and were waiting for our arrival. A decent bed and the location was OK depending on what you needed.

Great staff, well appointed rooms with individualized decor. Bedding and linen excellent and location is excellent for BC Place/Rogers Arena and Gastown.
We were there to watch the World Rugby Sevens. The stadium was walking distance. It was only a 10 min. walk. Reception was very helpful. Andrew helped and made us feel very welcomed. All the staff and residence were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The artwork is awesome!! There are fantastic restaurants and plenty to do and see. Thanks again to Andrew for making our stay so memorable! We are going to stay there again!
Rooms were beautiful staff was extra helpful and friendly.
From the incredibly friendly and helpful staff when we arrived, to the yummy breakfast laid out in the morning in the communal room, we had such a good stay. The beds are comfy, bathrooms modern and clean, and there's proper real coffee in the room! The artwork in our room was stunning, and it felt really good to be contributing to such an important project through our visit. The hotel is just a block from Gaslight district, and a very easy walk to the train station for getting to the airport.
Location to Vancouver's stadiums was very convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were nicely decorated and updated. I also like that profits from the hotel go to support local artists and actors from the VBC area.
Wonderful room decorated with original First People's art. Very inviting and comfortable. The staff were very nice and welcoming and I even met some of the artists. Would definitely stay here again
Bed was definitely like a cloud; staff extra friendly and helpful.
It is an Aboriginal arts and culture hotel the evokes the spirit of the Squamish people. The rooms and other areas like the Welcome Room are gorgeous. It is absolutely a spiritual place of healing.
Very friendly people at the gallery and hotel. Lovely rooms, the art is amazing and includes a totem pole on the roof! Excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to Gas Town. The whole concept of the hotel subsidizing lodging for artists and First Nations lodgers is fabulous and this is just the kind of endeavor we want to support.
Really happy with the overall feeling of it's cultural significants. The yummy bannock! Very homely & clean! Will be back! Aroha mai Aroha atua Meitaki Barbara Leith xo

The room with a view was amazing!! Such a beautiful way to start the day
Location.Food, market, seabus &transit all just a few steps away. Hotel was quiet and easily accessible.overall a really great place to stay. The balcony was a plus.you can see across the water to downtown Vancouver.
The room was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing
Great view of Vancouver. Easy access to downtown. Having a balcony was a nice touch.
The location - inside the mall - how smart. The manager's experience - the young lady, sorry I don't remember her name. Her life experience and work experience make her a valuable leader. Then they phoned me because I forgot my hairdryer after I checked out - how honest and caring! Loved my stay - I actually loved everyone at this hotel, thank you.
Lovely room, great view, great location, comfortable bed.
Loved the view and the ability to open the windows. The bed had an iron frame and felt more homey than a hotel.
'location ' Bean Around the World' right there and open early
Location was amazing. And the market on the main level was awesome!

Beautiful house and greatly sized room, with an incredible bath tub
It was excellent. Would definitely stay there again!
Great location Ideal for large groups Friendly host Large common areas to meet and play boardgames or watch a movie Bedrooms are huge Beds are comfortable Great access to transit Small cab fare from downtown or Granville Island Able to pay by EMT
It was great for a bed between travels, it was very quiet. The house is very bare no pictures etc but the bed was comfortable and that's what counted for us.
The staff was very good( helpful and friendly ), the location was very good. The facilities were very clean.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Facilities were good in my room. Excellent Wi-Fi reception.
The concept of a shared house is attractive - but think "student let" rather than a luxury apartment. Our host was friendly and welcoming despite the lack of a shared language, and carefully explained how to use the private garage on site. Other guests were friendly, albeit a rapid turnover. The street was quiet residential, a short walk to a main bus route into the city.
Great location in a beautiful neighborhood. Very nice en suite bathroom and great rec room in the basement with pool table. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and easy to work with. I would go back again.
Огромная комната, очень чистая, комфортная, приятные хозяева

Great small hotel in perfect location in Vancouver
Price, area, and staff were all great.wifi was pretty poor it kept cutting out.
Great budget accommodation in the perfect location in Vancouver!
Perfect location and easy access to everything Vancouver has to offer. This is my 3rd time at this hotel and will not be my last. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
Great location, quiet, quaint. Perfect in all aspects. Within walking distance to everywhere you wanted to be. Accessibilty was exceptional.

The staff were always helpful and the amenities were amazing: full kitchen, balcony, a common room with pool table, a movie theater, laundry room. I had a great time andnmazingnd definately would go back. They also have free daily actives for those out of town and unsure what to do
Great value for the price. Free breakfast was awesome, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, eggs, juices & coffee - couldn't ask for any more to fuel up for the day 👍
The free breakfast is great, always events going on too. Toilets recently renovated.
Truly a great place for adventures to be, I got to hang with people from all over the world. The staff and facility was perfect in every way. I will be going back!!
Staff, food, bar was all good and the hostel room was one of the most comfortable I've been in. The beds we're super comfy and soft and the blanket was great! I was honestly tempted to sleep in them all day :) Location was 8/10 since it's right on Granville st. Even though I was alone I found a lot of places to be entertained!
The location on Granville is very central. The bagels are great. The common area and restaurant/bar are a good place to relax and get food and drinks. The staff is helpful.
Breakfast was excellent, some bagle and maffine, cut fruits, boild egg, coffee, orange juice...
The staff were amazing! Very helpful! And the beds are so comfy and very clean. The newly renovated showers and toilets are excellent! Love the breakfast 😍 Awwsome that they have free daily activities for you to attend where you meet people and break the ice! Played a few cool drinking games! Great party scene, clubs down the street!
We only stayed there for one night so i did not expect too much, but it was really nice! The area seemed safe and clean. Great and friendly staff, a very safe parking garage just around the block (28$ for 48 hours) and a lot of things like stores (a shoppingstreet: "Robston Street), Restaurants, Bars and the Waterfront just in walking distance. The Hostelbar is great! We had a funny bingo night! Their offers for frfeetime activities is cool. The breakfast was okay, pretty small though. We had a private bedroom with shared bathroom. The beds were good for one night and it was pretty clean. The bathroom on the 3rd level is going to be renovated, so we had to use the one in the 2nd floor (a little annoying at night). All in all I would totally recommend the Samesun Vancouver!
breakfast was really nice. and they cleaned every morining. room and washroom very clean.

Comfortable room, although some might find it a little small. Good breakfast selection. Good location for our needs.
Preet from housekeeping. Sunny from the front desk.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nice, though a bit crowded when we went down, so timing is certainly everything. Was good though. Clean. I was happy that there was vacancy and the rates for my Sunday evening were not too expensive. Have wanted to stay here in the past but have not because of no vacancy or rates just too high compared to other locations not too far away. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again, if/when rates are decent.
Complimentary breakfast was good lots to choose from. We had everything we needed in the room and it was comfortable and quiet. The Mall right across the street had a beer store, grocery store, bank machine etc. Very convenient.
Good location for a reasonable price. Parking was free.
Clean, efficient service. My requests were honoured. I've recommended this spot to others.Having a fridge in the room is just great!
Great welcome and information when checking in, he made sure there was an open spot for parking underground before I went in, thank you very much , (midnite) check in
This breakfast was quite adequate. The place was neat and tidy. The staff was helpful
Friendly and helpful staff. The room is very comfortable. Good breakfast provided.
Breakfast was nice; free parking was also a bonus. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The service went beyond our expectations ... cheerfully gave directions & advice to Aussie tourists. It is a boutique hotel...ie it is very old but has been refurbished very tastefully, is spotless clean & the linens are snowy white & good quality. It promotes itself as family owned & run ..and it shows! Could not get a better location in downtown Vancouver!
Friendly and helpful staff; wish I'd had time to try out the sauna! The shared bathroom facilities were clean and private -- we never experienced any problem with people trying to use them at the same time. Thanks for a nice stay!
Just an all around great place, I always stay here. You cant get any better then the middle of downtown Vancouver for 90$ a night. Theres no fancy room service, TV, movies to rent. But not a days most people have a laptop or tablet anyways, if your not too lazy to go buy food and bring it to your room, and a great place to stay.
A really friendly, really central, clean and really good value hotel. i would certainly call again. perect for a stop-off or a few days. It even has a bar next door, and is a short walk from granville, one of the "happening" areas of Vancouver, as well as the waterfront.
This hotel felt like a quaint hotel you would find in Europe. We got a room with two single beds and our own bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic as it was right in the middle of things downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They always had smiles on their faces, and willingly answered questions. The restaurant next door was great. The food was fantastic, staff was friendly and it ws reasonably priced. Plus, you get a discount if you mention you are staying at the hotel.
Location was perfect, breakfast and staff were great!!
Good breakfast. Nice Vintage feel. Center of downtown Vancouver, easy to access major places. Overall, very convenient, clean and comfortable with a nice restaurant, with the same name, next door. Also got a 15% food discount at the restaurant for the duration of the stay. Talk to the front desk staff for major attractions and services and possible get discounts on various activities (ex. Capilano suspension bridge).
All staff were very pleasant, helpful. Very clean, quaint hotel, great location.
Friendly, helpful staff. Cosy decor. The window opens, the heater works. Bagels for breakfast. Comfortable bed. Reasonably fast free wifi. Bathrobe and slippers very handy, with shared shower/toilet facilities. Good showers. Terrific location!
The location and price were terrific. I could walk to anything. The room was clean and tidy, and nice robes were provided--with shared bathroom, that's essential. The atmosphere was civilized. And the bar and grill next door was really handy, though I didn't go there.

Close to the airport for overnight wait for connecting flight.
I did like that it was easy to get to the airport Ii
Proximity to the airport. There were lots of breakfast places around. :)
It was low in cost compared to other hotels in the area. It was close to the airport. The front desk was very helpful and informative.
I was staying one night as I had an early flight out of Vancouver. This was wonderfully close and provided a FREE airport shuttle. Room was clean and comfortable, quiet. Fridge was nice and cold. There was a small pool and jet spa.
I loved how clean it was and very tastefully decorated. The bed was ultra comfy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Friendly helpful staff at front desk. The two drivers of the shuttle buses were delightful and very welcoming to everyone that got on board.
It was great location for flying out the next day, and I like the late check out
Good overnight stay between flight and ferry to Vancouver Island.

The hotel was conveniently close to the cruise ship terminal, which is probably why it cost so much for a relatively small room that needed some repairs. The staff were great. The bed was very comfortable. A pod coffee machine was in the room as well as in the reception area. A very basic continental breakfast is provided on weekends.
Location was perfect. We easily walked the short distance to the cruise ship dock with our luggage.
The location is perfect for business. Nice pub on the ground floor. The hotel has one bedroom suites which is hard to find in Vancouver. Traveling with a baby I needed a room with a door that separates it from the living.
Quaint character building Front desk staff were exceptional Business Centre had a printer that actually worked Room was small but suited our purpose
A bit dated, but clean and easy to access, close to the waterfront and bussiness district.
Great location for anyone attending a conference, and very reasonable considering the location.
Beds comfortable. Breakfast restaurant very good.
Excellent location close to Waterfront Station: convenient for connections to Vancouver airport and for harbour area attractions. Keurig coffee machine in the room. Large screen TV. Staff were all lovely, and very helpful. Reasonably priced and okay for one night if all you want is somewhere convenient to sleep.
everything was nice and clean, the staff very nice and it's very close to a good pub
All the staff were very helpful and great! it was close to where we needed to be for the weekend. Breakfast was o.k. The room was quiet and it had what we needed. Wifi was good.

Location is great Having a suite is nice at the price
Great location. Was more like a little apartment than a hotel room.
Comfortable bed, great view of downtown and close to the so many great places!
I liked that it was a full suite, I could sleep in one room, but still relax with friends on the couch in the other area. Great location right downtown, short walk to most things. I didn't mind that it was dated decor, but was still surprised, lol. Like every wall in every room wallpapered floor to ceiling, stove from the 60's, couch from Value Village. But you use the hotel as a place to sleep, and use the rest of your time playing out in the city!
Great location, great value for a hotel suite with a full kitchen
Location, Location. Downtown parked the Van for the weekend and enjoyed our stay. Had a great view in the room, kitchen had everything you needed was a great bonus.
spacious, decent view, very clean, quick check in checkout, good restaurants close by
The price can't be beat for a 1 bdrm, full kitchen, with view (I was on 10th floor), free parking & wifi in downtown Vancouver. Superb location. Great restaurants and a short cab ride to Canada Place where I was attending a conference. Staff was super!
location, we had a nice corner room with views of the water.
Good cheap accomodation with restaurants next door and big breakfast across the road. Everything adequate for us, as a stop over on the way home to NZ.

Ryan at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful
Central location great if you're walking a lot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Soundproof so no noise from the bar below, for the most part, except the weekend when the noise spilled outside and came in the windows. Free light breakfast (or discount for larger one) in the bar, and it was pretty good.
The ground floor is pub so it's easy to drink with your friends. Its location was good to go to the downtown and the station.
Third time staying there. Good bar and food downstairs. Good location
It was in the center of gastown and a bar/club was near
Location was amazing. Free breakfast was good too.
Great staff, friendly guests, good vibes, felt safe leaving my things around, yummy muffins for breakfast too!
I liked the building itself, reminded me of Europe. The staff was nice and washrooms clean.
We loved the location and the price. Also it was cool how international and nice the hostel felt.
The beds had good mattresses and bunks were sturdy

Great location, walking distance from public transportation, hop-on hop-off bus stop. Hotel right in the heart of stores, grocery, eatery. The view from the hotel was great, considering if your room location. Stanley Park is walking distance and for nature/exercise enthusiastics there is a path for cycling, running and walking. Staff was good, especially Phil, he was helpful arranging taxi for the airport, and was always happy to answer our questions. Airport was 20 minutes away with no traffic
The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in ! TV excellent. Bus outside the door. Beach, and Stanley park a few yards away. Would not have preferred to be downtown. The Cactus Club bar/ restaurant at the end of the street is excellent !
The staff was fairly friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable. A tiny bit cramped for three people, but it has so many things you might need that other hotels overlook! It is also a very short distance from a lot of cool places, like a beach, restaurants, and almost everything you might need. It was a fantastic experience.
Once again every one here is very helpful and professional ... This is the best location for every thing shops dining sea wall night life. Why would you go anywhere else ?
Great location, and good value for money for Vancouver prices.
location , staff very friendly, very comfortable, clean
The bed was comfy and even had extra pillows. The kitchen was weel stocked with everything you will need to make a quick meal. There was also a view of the beach from the window.
Location- near English Bay and Stanley Park. Quite Central and easy to get to other attractions
Great value for money if you don't mind the older and used building and facility. Close to Stanley Park.
Looks kinda shady on the outside. But good inside. Great location. Good price.full Kitchen in the suite

The location was perfect, close to the coast-line yet within the heart of downtown. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

This is a fabulous property, with immaculate suite comprising bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen area and access to the garden via patio doors. Marianne and James were very warm and welcoming hosts and could not have done more to make our stay easy and super comfortable. The bed was perfect for us, with really high-quality linen. The shower was reliable and towels thick and lovely. Marianne and James were open to requests for breakfast (delicious!) and had a wealth of entertaining stories to tell from their colourful life growing up and working in Vancouver. They went above and beyond what you would normally expect from a stay at a B&B, and we will definitely recommend them to our friends.
Our room was spacious and bright with a modern but comfy feel. The bed was excellent and the breakfasts were delicious. Our hosts were delightful and overall it was amazing.
Beautiful and luxurious suite in a great location. Very congenial hosts and a great breakfast.
The breakfasts were amazing, the bed was sooo comfortable! Our suite was roomy and quiet - very relaxing! Our hosts were gracious and informative - the best!
Delicious breakfasts, charming hosts and a comfy, spacious suite of rooms in a great location close to cafes, shops and restaurants.
Spacious top floor suite that was spotlessly clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts (plus extra muffins-to-go) were all delicious. Great location - we love Kitsalano. Thoroughly recommend it.
Breakfasts were excellent, hosts are charming, location so convenient to everything. We traveled public transportation everywhere. Thank you, James and Marianne!
This was absolutly phantasic. A beautiful appartment in the attic. With a jacuzzi, a little kitchen a wonderful bed and bathroom. The hosts are the best you can have. The appartment was spottlessly clean. The breakfast was very good and the veriaty of the muffins outstanding. We had a wonderful time thank you very much.
James and Marianne were very helpful in answering all our questions. They were able to purchase tickets for us which was more convenient. The breakfasts were excellent and conversational. We were able to park on the street for free. The bus to downtown was very easy to use.
Lovely people with an amazing breakfast on both mornings. We had the upstairs unit with a private hot tub on the deck. Close to the bus lines and the walk to Granville Island along Kitsilano Beach was a highlight of our trip. Would definitely come back here again!

The accommodation. Very well maintained and everything we needed as a traveller. Very comfortable.
Very nice place, comfortable and cosy! The host is great and very nice. highly recommended
Quiet (very), comfortable, well-equipped, great bed, good quality fittings, decorations and furnishings. The owner has good taste. She was also very welcoming and friendly and made a point of stopping in to say hello.
Great location very nice apartment & Heidi the host was very obliging and helpful during our stay

The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us. Our room at the back was very quiet. There was a lot of space.
Randy was an excellent host. He was very accommodating, informative and friendly.
Pam and Randy were delightful hosts. The bed and pillows were very comfy.
Breakfast was full of choices and delicious. I'm gluten free & that was easily accommodated as was my request for decaf coffee. Our host & hostess were delightful, helpful & informative.
Never had such a great bed! The breakfast was great, as well. It was a awesome stay!
Jonathan helped us with small changes for the bus fare on the first morning of our arrival, helped set up the fan to cool our room on a hot day so the room was refreshing when we return in the late afternoon. He had also kindly shared with us some funny stories about the places we visited and also his experiences living in Vancouver in general. That had made us felt very much at home. The place itself is in a quiet and beautiful residential area but is in a really convenient spot, being within walking distance to the Elizabeth Park and the Botanical Garden, and with easy access to downtown via bus number 10 which has a stop just a few steps away from the front gate. The room itself was nice and quiet and comfortable. We also had friendly and quiet neighbours throughout our stay. We were very happy and thankful for the experience.
Stayed here before an alasken cruise. It was a relaxing start to our trip and convenient to cruise terminal. Great breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room.
Nicely appointed. Very clean and also very quiet. Wonderful Breakfast.
Great location and staff was great. Our room was wonderful

Upon telling the front desk Manager, Victoria, it was my birthday she provided me with a special surprise for dinner! Best birthday in a very long time! Even though I live in Vancouver I wasn't aware of this hotel until I was booking myself a room so I could attend two consecutive conferences downtown. I was really pleasantly surprised. The hotel was well-appointed, the room really comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the gym had everything I needed and the location was perfect!
It's location was great. It is a very good hotel with excellent amenities and services without the glitz.

The Burrard had a retro feel as soon as you approached the property, and inside it just got better. The hidden outdoor space in the centre of the accommodation was awesome, and the rooms were well equipped with all you might need, as well as some amazing recommendations of places to eat, drink and see. The affiliated cafe, Elysian and restaurant, Burgoo made the experience even better with amazing cover and breakfast, as well as comfort food and great cocktails. The addition of free access to bicycles and umbrellas were a very Vancouver touch and made it even more memorable.
Great service and great perk to have bikes available for us.
Lost the wifi password. Couldn't get a hold of front desk to retrieve a new one. But otherwise perfect choice! Hopefully get a discount for returning customers because we would love to come back!
The candy bag was a nice touch. It's a hidden gem in the heart of the downtown area. Super cool, funky vibe. Staff were exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly. Great coffee shop located next door. They offer complimentary bike rentals and access to Steve Nash gym during your stay. Can't wait to come back to stay.
I loved the retro 60's feel of the hotel. The courtyard with outdoor fireplace. The bag of candy on our bed and the cool old postcard were added nice touches. When we asked about nearby places for breakfast, the front desk guy was very helpful and even gave us umbrellas to borrow.
I loved the simplicity of the pared down room and the humour of the artwork and signs. Brilliant location. The bed had high thread count linens and was just the right firmness. The bathroom was simplicity and clean lines defined. Fantastic location. Great price.
super fun & funky! I loved the candy bag at check in :)
Great value, comfortable and clean. Eco friendly amenities very welcoming and contemporary.
Wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well laid out, decor funky but not too much so, the bed very comfortable. Loved the levels wrapped around a beautiful courtyard and not having to travel through hallways, I felt like I was in Europe. The nespresso coffe machine delivered a very welcome start to the morning. Definitely recommend staying here!
The staff was friendly, the sheets were clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable. It had a retro feel to it. It was nice. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

All staff were excellent but Steven at the reception area was a gift from heaven....outstanding service and very grateful

From the friendly staff (van driver and front desk) to the incredibly comfortable room, everything was great!!

Courtesy and helpfulness of staff. We had to make some changes in our itinerary, returning the rental car early and utilizing the shuttle service.directions were accurate and shuttle were right on time.

This apartment hotel was good accommodation for our family of 5 adults. We had a 2 bed suite with pullout couch for a 2 night stay. Great location within easy walking distance to Yaletown, either by street or seaside trail; downtown core is 15-20 minutes walking. The wine reception has low to mid-range BC options but served by a very congenial host. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is fabulous. Very easy to get to driving into Vancouver. Easy walking distance to everything downtown Vancouver offers. The free wine tasting event every evening at the lobby bar highlighting BC wines was a nice touch and brought travellers together for good conversation.
Value for money spent was the main consideration. Hotel is a bit tired and needs freshening up. The staff was very helpful.
Staff very helpful bed super comfortable bathroom needs updated but clean and spacious

Regina at the from desk was so friendly and helpful. She made us feel right at home👍.
Employees are very professional and helpful, place is clean, good breakfast and even the cleaning personnel says "Good morning" with a smile when they meet you.
We always stay at this hotel, the staff is very friendly, the rooms is sparkling clean and very nice breakfast included!
very friendly staff, felt welcome and appreciated. shuttle on time, full hot breakfast. the furniture was old wood style, should be updated. but bed and bathroom excellent. shower was huge and very nice.
Beds are very comfy Our room was ver clean. Staff at front counter are so helpfull and friendly . Free shuttle service to Airport is a added bonus, on time.
I loved the front desk staff. They were so friend and welcoming I'd recommend this specific hotel to all my friends. Also, the free breakfast was better than what I had expected.
Loved the 'Scottish' atmosphere in the hotel and in the rooms. The bed was comfy, they even had the tv remote packaged up in an 'it's been cleaned' sleeve, and there is a Keurig coffee maker in the room. Our check-in was quick and efficient (very much appreciated at 2 am after 16 hours of air travel). The bonus was the self-serve hot breakfast in the morning - sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit, coffee and more. All the staff were cheerful, welcoming and efficient. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk to the skytrain station. They do have an airport shuttle; however, we arrived too late (early morning) and it had gone off service. A taxi from the airport was $20. This hotel is a great alternative to some of the pricier hotels in the area. And they have FREE wifi! We will definitely stay here again when travelling in and out of Vancouver.
I have stayed here many times between flights out of YVR. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. I loved the fact that my room had the lights left on when I arrived in the wee hours. A cozy and homey touch that my parents would do when I was arriving home late. Very clean , early morning shuttle. Staff helpfulness also make this an enjoyable stay as well as a free breakfast before starting your day

The room I have got was very spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Lots of pillows, soft and hard. Very nice! Although I was at the 6th fooor the view wasn't that awesome, but since I didn't spend my time watching outside it was more than fine. Lots of fresh towels available and some shampoo, soaps samples as well. I also liked the coffee machine, very useful when you are working. I didn't try the breakfast, because it was quiet expensive to my mind. But just next door you have a Starbucks if you need anything more than just a coffee.
All the staff, we're very friendly and knowledgeable. Location was excellent. Food from the restaurant delicious and very fresh.room service was very polite.
Comfy beds. Windows that open slightly for fresh air; nice rooms. Like the big outdoor patio. It's nice to have a comfortable place to have a drink and a smoke undercover.
The best location downtown you could imagine. Walking distance to Canada Place, to bars, shops, to train station for direct airport service. Staff really helpful and friendly Amazing views from the window You can open windows I even had a balcony-great!
The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very quiet for sleeping. Our room was very clean and house keeping did an excellent job.
Room was fantastic so was the staff.Location was perfect as well
Liz at the front desk was very kind and allowed my 4 yr old daughter help her get our safety box. Our daughter felt very special
The restaurant staff were so great- they were having fun and so were we. They were definitely the best thing at the location. The food was very good- especially the omelets! The rooms were clean and comfortable. And they were nice enough to provide us with an umbrella in our room- which sure came in handy!
We've stayed at the Howe Street Holiday Inn before and like the location, the staff, and the rooms. We will book the Holiday Inn the next time we go to Vancouver.
Bed was very comfortable, room nicely appointed. Very nice fitness room. Great central location, easy to walk around city. Liked access to metro to get to airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great choice of buffet breakfast Very clean Staff helpful and friendly
I have stayed here before on business. As we were leaving Vancouver the location was very close to the airport and very convenient. The hotel provides a very good complimentary breakfast.
The staff was very friendly. Our air conditioner was not working and the front desk immediately sent someone to check it out. Within an hour we had a NEW air conditioner installed in our room. Also, the hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants. We dined at the Italian one and the food was delicious. There was also a fish restaurant and a Subway if you wanted fast food! We were also appreciative of the free, convenient shuttle service to the airport, the cleanliness of the room and the close proximity to the airport!

The proximity of the airport and the free airport shuttle. The skytrain next door to go to the center of Vancouver. The comfort of the bed. Being upgraded to a suite.
Really convenient shuttle service from airport. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost which was lovely - the room was clean and spacious, and bed was huge. Breakfast buffet was good and staff were very friendly.
Execellent location with lots of restaurant, and public transport within walking distance
Loved the beds with adjustable firmness. Staff and the whole facility was nice. Will definitely come back.

Kind and professional staff - great facilities and restaurants- lobby had daily live music- we pretty much stayed there unless we had to visit friends

We stay at many five star hotels and usually something isn't just right, but at the Pacific Rim everything was perfect. We live in the states so its not easy getting to Vancouver, but I would come back because of the hotel. The rooms on the harbor side have a beautiful view of the mountains and are worth the price.

LOVED the location. Can walk everywhere from this location. LOVED the pillows. LOVED the size of the room. Great value overall! 100% would and will stay there again.
Everything but particularly the effort put into Christmas. Magical.
From the moment that we set foot on the property, the courteous and helpful staff at the Four Seasons in Vancouver treated us like royalty and ensured that our stay was truly spectacular and missing not a single detail. With my husband's Birthday celebration, the manager arranged a complimentary upgrade to one of their two-level penthouse royal suites. The room was truly exceptional in every respect, from the cleanliness to decor, lighting, and climate control. It truly went beyond suiting our every need. During our stay we thoroughly enjoyed multiple visits to the Health Club facility, including their fabulous hot tub. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful, from providing recommendations for dinner plans and making reservations for us to even providing driving directions when leaving the hotel due to a parade directly in front of the building. Four Seasons never ceases to amaze, and the hotel in Vancouver without a doubt exceeded our every expectation.
Staff members were efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. Food in the Yew Restaurant was first class. Value for the room was excellent. It was cleaned well, quiet and comfortable for our 6 night stay.
The food was outstanding. YEW Restaurant also delivers the room service which we used often. I love this Four Seasons and I've stayed at many before. I would highly recommend it and will stay again here. The location is excellent and the staff was outstanding. Our room was also perfect.

Wonderful boutique hotel on beautiful Granville Island.
The views, the dockside dining, the front desk staff, the rooms, the location...
Room was perfect! Dinner outside had a great view and perfect food. Couldn't be better!
The pancakes were amazing. Sitting out on the patio, under the black and white striped awnings, by the boats with a cocktail was most relaxing. Granville Island is such a fun place to explore. Loved this visit!
Hotel was very unique & original with a great location - & kept very clean! Staff was "very" friendly, helpful & accommodating except for a couple of restaurant door hostesses. Dockside Restaurant was excellent with great food & wonderful views. Rooms are cozy & contemporary & bathrooms are well lit & super cool!
Excellent location, clean but most of all the staff!! We had some other accommodation issues and they went over and above to accommodate, help us and we felt they truly cared. They let us stay in the room longer then the posted check-out time, continually asked if they could help, and change of shift staff seemed to know our situation and continued the great treatment.

Great continental breakfast. Great location. Clean.
On booking, the site said that the room had a fridge and microwave so we were even more delighted to find it actually had a little kitchen stocked with dishes etc. Also, we like the added security of needing a room key to operate the elevators etc. The view from the fitness room/hot tub area was awesome too! Oh and the breakfast was excellent as well! Friendly staff and clean and comfy eating area.
Location was amazing. Room extremely comfortable and quiet. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Location was perfect for the concert we went to. Asked for a room higher up so we could enjoy the city lights and we were not disappointed. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The young lady behind the service desk was excellent, polite and provided all the info we required every day. The beds were very comfy and the room was very clean. The location is central to most venues or the shuttle service will take you to Canada place.
This hotel was the best one in every way that we used on our 5 weeks holiday in several countries
The renovation of the breakfast area was one of the best renovation I have seen in a Hampton! I had booked a 1 bedroom suite and it was gorgeous!!! The location was excellent as well!!
The staff were brilliant- especially the staff in the breakfast room and at reception- all so friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. So polite and professional. Facilities were great- small kitchen area, a laundry and games room as well as a gym and lovely balcony with a great view over the city. The morning we checked out the reception staff even gave us some ice-cold bottles of water to take with us- outstanding service!

Property was well maintained, the room was well furnished and tastefully decorated and comfortable. The concierge lounge was a nice amenity.
We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and the service at this lovely hotel was exceptional and as good as we have had in some of the best we have enjoyed. From the moment we arrived until our early morning departure after our four night stay the staff, from reception, cleaner, managers, bar staff, concierge, doorman - all were friendly, professional and provided a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The hotel itself has spacious rooms with those having harbour views the best. The bar and restaurant are excellent and the facilities also fantastic. The location is also great with just a walk down to the foreshore of the harbour, a reasonable walk or very short $5 cab ride to gastown. A thoroughly enjoyable experience
This was my second stay here. The hotel rooms and beds are very comfortable. Good mattress and pillows and I appreciated that the down-like cover was a bit heavier and warmer than that of most hotels.
Close to the harbour and other attractions.Fantastic view!
Everything! Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Joseph who was excellent. So friendly and efficient. Our room was fantastic. And so comfortable. I was at the Tumbleweed Workshop and staying at the Marriott was great.
Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Rajib, who works in the restaurant was so kind he made me fresh hot lemon and honey drinks to go in the morning as he heard I had a strained voice one day. Very very kind staff. The rooms offered great view, the beds and pillows super comfortable. Very very comfortable stay. The restaurant was cool and classy. Great food! Loved the fruit flavoured water put out every day and free coffee in the morning.
Location, cleanliness, ambience, the room was just great, staff were always helpful and responsive to your needs

The view was beautiful and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a living room and bedroom , could have stayed longer . The view was gorgeous . The hotel is very close to harbour where we fly in and easy to get anywhere in downtown Vancouver . Great restaurants around it too.
The room was large with plenty of space-have stayed in small, more costly rooms both in Vancouver and outside Canada. Excellent view and quiet location on 9th floor.Taxi driver easily located the hotel. Reception were excellent upn arrival and departure. 2 block walk to Glanville Skytrain for 25 min ride to airport--very convenient and cheap approx $2.75pp single tix
Location for the harbour and the Vancouver viewing tower is spot on. The breakfast room is on the 8th floor (from memory), and works really well as you get a fantastic view looking down on the city streets etc. We were also given a free room upgrade giving us a harbour view. Loved it!
The staff were very easy to deal with and we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade. The hotel was in a great location to explore the city and we would stay here again. The room was very comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay
Upon our arrival a miscommunication between booking.com and the hotel seemed to have taken place; we had booked for 3 children and 2 adults but in the hotelsystem we showed as 4 adults). The first receptionist to help us was rather rude and told us there was nothing she could do about it and that there was no possibility to put an extra bed/cot in the room that had been booked. Luckily for us a collegue then took over (I recall her name being Virginie) and solved the problem for us, by giving us a room with two queens and a sofabed in it. I am not sure whether it was an upgrade, but we had a beautiful view from the 11th floor.
Smaller quiet hotel. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. Breakfast area was bright and inviting with nice street view. Continental breakfast was more than adequate despite limited items. Ample counter space in bathroom. Good iron! The staff were helpful and friendly. Small appliances added to convenience. Handy to Waterfront Station for rapid transit lines.
Loved that it was so quiet! Smaller charming hotel with the most excellent location! One street up from waterfront, Vancouver Convention Centre and train to airport. The staff were very helpful and professional! Would definately stay here again.

Diana was amazing - she provided great recommendations for things to do, a comfy room and a great breakfast! Will definitely stay there again!
Diana really went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, she is an excellent host and her B&B made us feel at home away from home. It was cool waking up and having breakfast with the other people staying there. Definetley my go-to for the next time I visit Vancouver.
The hotel gives me the feeling is very very warm. House layout very carefully, also very clean. It has a small garden, and the room is very beautiful small accessories! More importantly, the owner Diana is a very, very warm women, like your family, to help you prepare a delicious breakfast, but also very enthusiastic to help you how to better live in Vancouver! how to save money for a trip to Vancouver. Many thanks to you, Diana!
Beauty of the home, cleanliness and comfort. Diane was joyous and funny. She had great information about the sights and how to get there.
The view of our room was amazing The breakfast were healthy, vegan ( blueberries were fresh from the farm) Diana herself is the best hostess I've ever came across, directed us to save money Best stay I had during my trip
Diana was very accommodating and helpful when it came to giving us information on how to navigate Vancouver, B.C. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Also we woke up every morning to an awesome breakfast.
Beautiful, quiet house. Extremely comfortable bed. Diana is a wonderful host and is knowledgeable and quite helpful when it comes to planning a day of wandering around the city.
This is truly a home from home, only even more comfortable and luxuriously decorated and furnished. Diana has deliberately designed a happy home, and curiously, it works. All the rooms are generously furnished and decorated, many with art and artifacts that Diana has assembled on her world wide travels. Diana cares for her guests and unbidden planned a complete days' itinery for me, right down to providing maps and the correct bus fare to get to the Space Museum, with recommendations for lunch and dinner. The location is not central but there is plentiful public transport or taxis. As the weather was fine, I walked in to and back from downtown.
Diana is very friendly and hospitable. I just stayed in town to finish a job in the area and she was up early making sure I had breakfast. I will be back...
The friendly and helpful hostess went out of her way to make it a good stay, and enjoyable in the city.

The room was very clean and more than reasonably priced. The staff was so friendly we felt in love with the property and Vancouver.
The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and accommodating. The rooms in the tower I stayed in were recently renovated. The finishes and furnishings are fresh, modern and up to date. The beds and bedding are very plush and extremely comfortable. I have been staying at this hotel extensively when in Vancouver for business or pleasure for about 8 years and find it always consistent. When my schedule permits I treat myself to a breakfast in their dining room. One of the finest breakfasts I have found anywhere.
