There are two main destinations on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca.

COPACABANA

A small town located on the Bolivian shore of Lake Titicaca.  Situated relatively close to the capital of La Paz, it’s a popular resort destination for foreign travellers and locals alike. This is the original Copacabana — actually lending its name to the beach in Rio.The name derives from the Aymarakota kawana, meaning “view of the lake”, and the region was revered by the Inca even before the Spaniards built their chapel of the Virgin and turned it into a Catholic pilgrimage site.

ISLA DEL SOL

The largest island on Lake Titicaca, and part of Bolivian territory.  This is an ancient holy site of the Inca, it’s easily reachable from Copacabana. The life in the island is tranquil, there is no noise, no motorized traffic and no rubbish on the streets (which is rare for Bolivia)

Overall Atmosphere: Combination
Combination Atmosphere destinations combine elements of both cultural and natural destinations, where this combination is itself essential to the travel experience. Common examples are Archaeological Sites (where culture is usually experienced outdoors), Scenic Local Markets (where indigenous cultures interact outdoors), Hotsprings and Vineyard Areas (where nature provides the raw materials but humans create the surroundings), and Unique Cultural Landscapes (where humans and nature interact in innovative ways, as in the elaborate rice terracing systems of Asia).

Combination Interests typically fall somewhere in the middle of the three types of primary interests in terms of
(a) how climate-dependent they are
(b) how accessible and physically demanding they are.
Featuring both cultural and natural attractions.

Archeological Sites

Isla del Sol

The sights on the northern tip of Isla del Sol are ancient Inca sacred sites. The Rock of the Puma, or Titi Kharka, after which the lake is named, is a large formation that will probably look nothing like a puma until the guide points it out. A short distance from the rock is the Inca Table, a low platform fashioned of stone. The Footsteps of the Sun nearby are a set of natural (or supernatural?) impressions in rock.
Natural
Scenic Waterways
Lake Titicaca is a deep alpine lake in the Andes on the border of Peru and Bolivia. It is the largest lake in South America by water volume. It is also the highest lake in the world that is commercially navigable, with a surface elevation of 3,812 meters (12,507 ft).
Hiking and Trekking

Isla del Sol

This island, off of Copacaban has an wonderful hike between the north island (Challapampa) and south the south island (Yumani). There are nice views, and the chance to see llamas, donkeys, production of adobe bricks, and other features of local life. There are two paths starting in Challapampa. One goes north through archaeological site and then south from the Sacred Rock. The other goes directly south, skipping the archaeological site.
